Dutch graphics of the 17th century

Dutch graphics of the 17th century
Exhibition accompanying the most important Dutch portrait gallery in Morąg.
Through the appropriately selected cityscapes (panoramas, perspective plans, "interiors" of cities, presentations of the most important buildings), castles and palaces (including the famous Huis Ten Bosch Oranje residence and the residence of the Brederode family – the Vianen castle) shows the cultural landscape of the Netherlands – mostly Holland – in the period after United Provinces became independent under the rule of the House of Oranje. The presented engravings are mostly originals from the collection of the Museum of Warmia and Masuria. In several cases, out of necessity, copies or reproductions have been used.
