The "Folk culture of the Masurians" ethnographic exhibition is the largest one at the museum. It presents a rich image of everyday life in the nineteenth-century Masurian countryside. It ought to be noted that the civilization progress, faster than in the adjacent Polish regions, caused a number of everyday objects, utensils and tools to go out of use before the early 20th century.
